Skytech Services Profile
Skytech Drone Services is the first in New Zealand to provide specialist aerial services nationally to the agricultural and commercial sectors using state-of-the-art drone technology. With combined international commercial aviation experience of nearly 60 years, Franchisors Mark Lusby and Glen Daniel, both Kiwis, are uniquely placed to support new Franchisees in a potentially huge and lucrative market served by less efficient, older systems.
Skytech founder Mark Lusby has worked in the aviation industry for 30 years and is currently a Boeing 747 flight simulator instructor for Cathay Pacific. Having grown up on a dairy farm in South Auckland, Mark brings grassroots knowledge of the agriculture and farming sector to Skytech and his vast experience as an instructor is being used to develop comprehensive training programmes for Skytech Franchisees.
Glen Daniel has over 14,000 hours of flight time amassed over 29 years in aviation. For 20 years, he has flown internationally for Cathay Pacific, the past 9 as Senior Captain on Boeing 777 and 747-8 aircraft. Glen has a long-term interest in radio-controlled aviation and has been flying drones for the last 7 years providing invaluable insight for Franchisees.
Skytech has national distribution rights for BROUAV drones which are at the forefront of this rapidly developing and exciting new technology. This gives Franchisees the unequalled opportunity to develop their own business as further technological advances in drone engineering and capability are released.
What Skytech Offers Clients
